October 1943 – Convenes the “National Constitutional Assembly” in Tirana.

March 1944 – Establishes the “NATIONAL INDEPENDENT GROUP” as a means to fight the Slavo-Communist power, in Shkodra

November 26, 1944– He heads to Mirdita to lead the anti-communist resistance.

June 14, 1946– He is ambushed and killed in Perlat, Mirdita.
