Kapidan Gjon Ndue Gjomarkaj

Gjon was born in Rome, Italy. He is the only son of of Kapidan Ndue Gjon Marku.

He completed his formal education in New York City where he is a successful business enterpreneur.

Gjon first visited Albania in 2013 and was deeply moved by meeting his uncle Dede and listening to the stories of his struggles through communism. He visited Mirdita at the time and has been a steadfast supporter of our legal fight for property restitution and to ensure that all our properties are legalized in the rightful family names, that of the heirs of Gjon Markagjoni, a legal battle which has been ongoing for 5 years.
